The Bedford Eye Care Centre is pleased to announce the introduction of a revolutionary new eye care instrument to our office, the OCT. (Optical Coherence Tomographer) This amazing instrument allows our doctors to view the retina in unprecedented detail. Until now, we were only able to look at the surface of the retina. The OCT allows us to view the retinal structure right down to the cellular level.

Dr. Erin Sheppard joins Bedford Eye Care Centre

We are thrilled to have Dr. Sheppard join our practice here in Bedford! Dr. Sheppard graduated from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry in 2003 after completing a B.Sc. in Biology at Dalhousie University. She has been active in the Nova Scotia Association of Optometrists and the Nova Scotia College of Optometrists since returning home after graduation. She has Chaired committees for both the Association and the College, served as the Secretary-Treasurer , Vice President and is the current President of the Association . Dr. Sheppard continues the Bedford Eye Care Centre tradition of excellence in care combined with compassionate care-giving.
