About Bedford Eye Care Centre
The Bedford Eye Care Centre was established in 1984 by Dr. Toby Mandelman in the Sun Tower in Bedford. In 1992, she expanded and moved her office to the mezzanine level of Sunnyside Mall.
In 1994, Dr. Angela Dobson joined the practice and in 1998, Dr. Avila Cox was also welcomed to the office. The office was expanded and enlarged again in 2001 within Sunnyside Mall. The practice grew again with the addition of Dr. Raman Parkash in 2006.
In 2012, Dr. Parkash relocated to Halifax and Dr. Erin Sheppard joined our practice.
In 2011, the Bedford Eye Care Centre boasts 5 optometrists, 20 staff (including licensed opticians and a contact lens fitter) and an office manager. Our mission has been to provide the very best in eyewear and make your eye care visit an experience! We deliver state-of-the art eye examinations by doctors and staff who really care about you and wish to develop a fulfilling lifetime relationship with you. We love to see new patients and welcome you to the Bedford Eye Care Centre family!
